Wednesday, July 01: Southwood’s Foodtruck events are back on, this time at 4:00 PM at Chef’s Block.

A Community Resource Specialist will be available to answer any questions at the main branch of the library beginning at 10:00 AM.

Thursday, July 02: The Leon High School performance of Frozen, which is the full Broadway production, will occur at 3:00 PM. The summer musical features students from multiple schools in the county.

Gulf Winds Summer Track Series begins today at the track at Maclay, latest entry at 6:45 PM. Bring enough hydration for yourself.

The Silent Book Club will meet at Courtyard Cafe and Games at 5:30 PM. Bring whatever book you plan to read and get a drink and snack at the cafe.

Trivia Night at Amicus Brewing begins at 7:00 PM.

Bingo Night at the Tallahassee Museum begins at 7:00 PM at the Trail Break Cafe. The rest of the museum will be closed.

Cap City Video Lounge is showing Catalina Caper and Village of the Giants starting at 7:30 PM.

Friday, July 03: The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will perform at Kleman Park at 7:00 PM. The show is called A Star-Spangled Celebration. At 4:00 PM, there will be a screening of National Treasure (in the IMAX) followed by food trucks at 6:00 PM. TSO will perform at 7:00 PM. All events are free, the movie will be first come/first serve, please bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show.

The Tallahassee Crochet Club will meet at Courtyard Cafe and Games at 6:00 PM. Bring your own yarn and project.

Cap City Video Lounge presents the Triple Feature of The Living Dead series starting at 7:30 PM.

Therese Whichello will perform at the Blue Tavern at 8:00 PM.

Saturday, July 04:Celebrate America at Tom Brown Park begins at 6:00 PM.

Various Farmer’s Markets occur around town.

The Firecracker 5k and 1-mile Sparkler fun run is a family-friendly 5K walk/run at Cascades Park to assist the Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend. The theme this year is “Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Miles!” Registration fees are determined by age and race choice.

If you’d like to stay inside for the fourth, Cap City Video Lounge is having a marathon to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, featuring Jaws, Big Trouble in Little China, Idiocracy, Machete, and more. The marathon begins at 3:00 PM and goes past midnight.

Sunday, July 05: The last day of Leon High School’s Frozen summer performance will happen at 3:00 PM.

Community Clothing Swap at Common Ground Books will occur at 2:00 PM

Gadsden Arts Center’s exhibition Generations: A Solo Exhibit by Julie Torres is winding down, officially ending on July 11. Her art is owned by the Met; Torres is a local resident who graduated high school in town before moving to SCAD for higher education.

Tuesday, July 07: Coffee and Commerce begins at 7:45 AM at Earley’s Kitchen.

The Fiction/Nonfiction Book Club will meet at the Northeast Branch Library and will discuss Bog Queen by Anna North beginning at 3:30 PM. A Mobile Health Clinic will be present at the Main Library at 11:00 AM.

Wine and Bites at VineBites will begin at 5:00 PM. This is a three course meal with three wine pairings. Tickets begin at $33.00.

Amicus Brewing’s Book Club, Pints and Pages, will discuss Yesteryear at 6:30 PM

The Riley Museum will host an event at Leroy Collins Main Library titled Remembering the Tuskegee Airmen starting at 6:00 PM.

Trivia Night at Amicus Brewing begins at 7:00 PM.

Yoga at the Library will meet at the Eastside Branch Library at 5:30 PM. Registration is required. The Mystery Book Club will meet at the Northeast Branch at 6:30 PM to discuss The Savage, Noble Death of BabsDionne by Ron Currie Jr.

The Pharoah’s of Funk will perform as part of the Levitt AMP Tallahassee: Music Under the Oaks at 7:00 PM in the Chain of Parks (specifically Lewis Park) downtown. There will be food trucks, bring your chairs and blankets. This is a free event!

Midtown Reader hosts Li Zhuang, who will discuss her book of poetry, But Octopi Don't Sing, with FSU Professor James Kimbrell. 

LeMoyne Art’s newest exhibition, Through The Fire, opens at 11:00 AM.

AMC hosts Skweezy Jibbs for a Q&A after the showing of his movie, Skweezy Jibbs Makes A Movie at 7:30 PM. Admission is about $28.00.



Friday, July 10: Theatre Tallahassee’s first showing of Alanis Morisette’s Jagged Little Pill begins at 8:00 PM.

The Wine House presents 8 Ways to Wine, a sampling of new wine for $10.

The Charlie Brown Band will perform at the Legion Hall at Lake Ella at 7:00 PM.

Cap City Video Lounge hosts Movie Manglers as they riff through Money Plane. A ticket is $7.00. Cap City Video Lounge will show The Python Hunt at 11:00 PM. This is a documentary about the state-sanctioned python cull in the Everglades. Please note the warnings provided.

Old Porch Swing Band will perform at Bird’s Shack at 7:00 PM.

The Bark hosts Shidded, The Dirt Eaters, Bite Marks, and Mutual Disdain for a concert beginning at 8:00 PM.


Saturday, July 11: InfinityCon starts its two-day festival at the Civic Center in town.

The North Florida Facial Hair Society (NFFHS) hosts the Beards, Badges, and Mustaches Competition and Fundraiser for First Responders at Oyster City Tallahassee on Gaines Street starting at 4:00 PM. Registration begins at 4:00 PM and a Flamingo Party begins at 7:00 PM. Competitors must register and pay, but all other attendees are free to admit.

The Tallahassee Museum’s Swamp Stomp begins at 4:00 PM. Members get in free, there will be music, food, and drinks, plus the museum will be open. Bring chairs and blankets to sit in for the performances. Admission is $12-18 depending on age.

Various Farmer’s Markets occur around town.

Native Nurseries will host a workshop about Birds of the Summer with Chase Brestle. Topics will include: the feeding and nesting habits of birds that will visit out yards during the summer, hummingbirds, strategies for keeping squirrels away, nesting behaviors, the importance of birdbaths, planting for birds, and the seasonal patterns of bird appearances in our gardens. Registration is required and a $5.00 holding fee will occur.

LeMoyne Arts will host a Muffin and Mimosas with Mary Ellen Free as part of their Artist Talks. This will begin at 11:00 AM. Admission is free for members and $5.00 for non-members. Free’s show Through The Fire opens on July 09.

Native Spirit Gems and Jewelry hosts Mediumship Sessions with Megan Torres of Root Healing Herbothecary. This begins at noon/12:00 PM.

The Krooked Kilts will perform at Corner Pocket at 8:00 PM. The Kilts are Tallahassee’s own celtic rock band.

Punk and Emo night at Duke and Dottie’s in Midtown begins at 10:00 AM.

Tallahassee Harley-Davidson presents Liberty and Loud Pipes in support of Robert Butler Lodge No. 305, F&AM. There will be food, drinks, games, and a raffle.



Sunday, July 12: InfinityCon ends its weekend program.

Journeys in Yoga hosts Carol Christensen for a Sunday Sound Bath beginning at 2:00 PM. A ticket is $25.

The Capital Area Pinball Tournament of July begins at 3:00 PM, registration is at 2:00 PM. This will occur at Flippin’ Great Pinball.

Midtown Reader’s book club, Lost in Translation, will meet at 2:30 PM. The book under discussion is Still Born by Guadalupe Nettel.

Mahjong Lessons and Play will occur at Amicus Brewing. Lessons begin at 1:30 PM. Open Play begins at 2:00 PM. A ticket is required for Open Play.

Tuesday, July 14: An Author Talk from the Leon County Library will occur at 7:00 PM, online. It will feature Karen Slaughter who will discuss her North Falls series (We Are All Guilty Here and her upcoming sequel, The Secrets We Hide).

Wednesday, July 15: Camp Gordan Johnston is showing a special exhibit, Commemorating D-Day, from June 02 to July 18. The Museum is in Carrabelle and is open Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free and donations are appreciated.

Thursday, July 16: Five Guys Named Moe opens at the Monticello Opera House and runs to July 19th.

Make It with MoFA presents Floral Painting on Postcards and Bookmarks, aworkshops inspired by the Tallahassee Watercolor Society’s “2026 Tri-State Annual Juried Water Media Exhibition.” It will begin at 5:30 PM. This is a free event and materials will be provided; registration is required.

Leon County Library hosts Author Reyna Grande at 2:00 PM to discuss her book Migrant Heart: Essays About Things I Can’t Forget.

The Tallahassee Museum hosts Bingo Night at the Trail Break Cafe, showcasing the new menu. The rest of the Museum is closed. Bingo begins at 7:00 PM.

Tuesday, July 21: Native Spirit Gems and Jewelry hosts a free poetry night starting at 6:00 PM.

Cap City Video Lounge will host the Murder Mystery Comedy Show: Death Becomes Silly at 8:00 PM. There will be comedians performing sets and solving a murder in between the sets. Entry is $5, free for college students with a valid ID.
