Tuesday, 02: Steve Earle will perform at the Moon starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets start at $39. Steve will be joined by special guest Slater Nalley.
The Capital City Chamber of Commerce presents Coffee and Commerce; it will begin at 7:45 AM at Earley’s Kitchen. This is a Tallahassee Networking event.
Brown’s Kitchen hosts a cooking class on Creative Cajun Cooking with Cast Iron at 6:00 PM. Class is $70 and materials, plus one glass of wine, are provided.
Wednesday, 03: Misson San Luis’ monthly archaeological tour begins at 11:00 AM. Misson San Luis is Tallahassee’s only natural historic landmark, and the tour will discuss how the site was excavated. Also on deck for discussion is what historians and archaeologists learned about the Apalachee and Spanish residents that lived here. As the Tennessee Street entrance is currently closed, the west entrance (2021 Mission Road) is the only way to access the site. Admission is free to $5.00.
Tallahassee’s Soccer Club, the Battle Lions, will host and play PSC Panama City Beach FC at Gene Cox Stadium starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets are free for kids and $15.00 for everyone else, student discounts are available.
There is an author talk with Mary Savig, who wrote State Fairs: Growing American Craft. Savig is a Smithsonian Curator. This is put on by Leon County Libraries and is an online discussion.
Global Running Day, hosted by Lululemon and Peak Pulse begins at 6:00 PM at the Miracle Plaza outside Lululemon. There will be a community two-mile run, food, live DJ, giveaways, and a special shirt for some lucky attendees. This is a free event, but reservations are requested.
Midtown Reader hosts author Nicolas Goodley talking with FSU creative writing professor, Ravi Howard as they discuss Goodley’s new poetry book Star Power. This will begin at 6:30 PM.

A Benefit Concert of Original Music for the Wildlife, presented by the Tallahassee Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, will perform at the American Legion Hall, Post 13. The event begins at 7:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM. This benefit concert will help to fund the St. Francis Wildlife Association’s Bald Eagle Rehabilitation Program. Featured artists are Del Suggs, Tracy Horenbein, Michael Paul Brawer and Michael Douso. Admission is a donation to St. Francis Wildlife Association.
The Great Potluck Bash Four-Mile Prediction Run will begin at 6:00 PM. Sign up is $25.00. This is a no-watch/no-stress run! The course is on the Phipps-Property Trails, which is hilly. To begin, meet in the Forestmeadows Parking Lot.
