Friday, November 08: This is the second night of the 78th Annual North Florida Fair. Tickets are $5-25.

Blues performers Jon Shain and FJ Venture are performing at Blue Tavern, beginning at 5 PM. Tickets are $5.

Liz Mandeville is performing at Bradfordville Blues Club. Tickets are $20-25 and the music begins at 9 PM.


Saturday, November 09: Many Farmer’s Markets in town start in the morning at 9 or 10 AM.

FSU’s School of Theatre is performing The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde at the Lab Theatre at 8 PM. Tickets are $5-25.

Gaines Street Fest begins at 2 PM. There are six stages, local artisans, and food vendors.

The Sundown Concert Series is occurring this Saturday beginning at 7 PM. For the best parking, arrive early or park at a nearby garage. Pat Puckett is opening and then Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears take the main stage. Food trucks will be onsite. 100% of alcohol sales at the event go to support local nonprofits.

Sunday, November 10: All Saints Cinema (Tallahassee Film Society) is showing 1959’s The Tiger of Eschnapur, a film by Fritz Lang. Tickets are $7-10 and the screening starts at 5:00 PM.

The Knott House is partnering with the Institute on World War II and the Human Experience for a dramatic reading of letters to and from local soldiers during WWII. The readings begin at 2 PM, it is free with light refreshments.





THE NEXT WEEK, NOVEMBER 11- NOVEMBER 14



Monday, November 11: Downtown Tallahassee is hosting various Veterans Day activities, including a parade, a race, and vendors.

Tuesday, November 12: As part of FSU’s Opening Nights series, James LeBlanc and the Winchesters are performing at Goodwood Museum. The concert begins at 7:30 PM and tickets are $45.


Wednesday, November 13: John Paul White is performing at Fifth and Thomas beginning at 6 PM. Tickets are $20-25.

FSU’s University Wind Ensemble is performing at Ruby Diamond at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $7-10.

Thursday, November 14: Jazz Night at Level 8 Lounge begins at 8 PM. The evening’s music is led by a group of music students from FSU.

Food Truck Thursday is happening at Lake Ella beginning at 5:30 PM. There is no entry. The band is Tuesday Supper Club, they take the stage at 6:30 PM.
