Wednesday, April 3:

The Village Square hosts Speed Date with your Local Leaders at the Carriage House. Leaders rotate to different tables for a set time allowing citizens to meet and ask questions. Begins at 6 PM.



Thursday, April 4:

Tallahassee Theatre’s The Producers begins its run at 8:00 PM. The show will continue until April 21. Tickets are $15-25.



Friday, April 5:

Springtime Tallahassee Music Festival begins at 6:00 PM with the beer garden opening at 5:30 PM. This free event at Kleman Plaza features a concert by Rodney Atkins and Jackson Dean.

Opening Nights presents Terence Blanchard and the E-Collective with the Turtle Island Quartet. The concert begins at 7:30 PM at Ruby Diamond. Tickets are $25-$40.

Junkanoo Caribbean Heritage Carnival begins at 4:00 PM at Railroad Square Art Park. This is a free event.

First Friday at Railroad Square begins at 6:00 PM

Lynard Skynard and ZZTop perform at the Civic Center at 7:00 PM. Tickets start at $40.50.

Hell House Whiskey Bottle Signing plus a Meet and Greet with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd at Total Wine and More. Ages 21+

Stop at the Station celebrates National Poetry Writing Month. The Tallahassee Visitors Center and Domi Station will be open at 5:00 PM. There will be a few poetry readings and a performance by FSU’s Accabelles.

Friends of the Library Spring Title Wave Book Sale at the main branch. Shopping begins at 10:00 AM, and members get one-hour early shopping at 9:00 AM.



Saturday, April 6:

Springtime Tallahassee Grand Parade (10:30 AM) and Jubilee in the Park (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). The parade begins at Monroe Street and the Jubilee is in the Chain of Parks.

Friends of the Library Spring Title Wave Book Sale at the main branch. Begins at 09:00 AM

St. Augustine Lion’s Seafood Festival begins at 10:00 AM and goes to 9:00 PM in St. Augustine, Florida Admission is $10 for adults, free for children.

The last day for the Royal Hanneford Circus at the Fairgrounds.

 

Monday, April 8:

Midtown Reader hosts author Patti Callahan Henry and her new book, ‘The Secret Book of Flora Lee’. A ticket includes an author talk and a signed edition of the book.

Tuesday, April 9:

The Sycamore Assembly hosts an English and Scottish Dance at Goodwood Museum and Gardens. It begins at 6:30 PM and tickets are $10.

Wednesday, April 10:

Midtown Reader hosts Annabelle Tometich in conversation with Ann VanderMeer about Tometich’s memoir ‘The Mango Tree’. The event begins at 6:30 PM and admission is free. The book can be purchased at Midtown Reader.

Tallahassee Film Society is showing ‘Indigo Girls: It’s Only Life Afterall’ at All Saints Cinema at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $9 to $11.

Goodwood Museum is hosting a book signing with author Donna Meredith of her new book ‘Margaret: Rose of Goodwood.’ This is a fictional book based on the life of Margaret Wilson Hodges Hood. The event begins at 5:00 PM. The book will be available to purchase for $15.

Thursday, April 11:

FSU’s Meet the Artist hosts Méadhbh O’Connor at the Museum of Fine Arts beginning at 6:00 PM. Méadhbh O’Connor is one of the artists in the exhibition Talamh agus Teanga (Land and Language). This is a free event, but registration is required.

Hot Tamale will perform at LeMoyne for its new exhibit "Soulful Feelin': A Folk Art Celebration." This begins at 5:00 PM and is a free event for members, $5 for non-members.

Sandestin Wine Festival, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, tickets are $85

Tallahassee Music and Bike Fest featuring Frank Simon

FSU’s University Philharmonic Orchestra is performing at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall beginning at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $7-$10.

Soulful Sounds in Tallahassee at the Women’s Club begins at 8:30. Tickets are $20.

Monsoon at the Bark. The show begins at 7:00 PM.


Friday, April 12:

Tallahassee Rodeo at the Fairgrounds begins at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $25

The Revivalists begin their concert at 6:00 PM at the Capital City Amphitheater. Tickets are $40-70.




Saturday, April 13:

Tallahassee Blues and Jazz Fest is from 11:00 AM to 4 PM, tickets are needed.

Goodwood Museum’s Plant Sale is from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Bring your own cart!

Curtis Salgado Blue Band at the BBC at the Legion beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20-25.

Adams Street Flea begins at 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Sandestin Wine Festival

Tallahassee Music and Bike Fest featuring Twista

Southside DIY festival begins at 10:00 AM. This is a free event at the Anita Favors Plaza. This festival promotes and celebrates DIY activities for the S.C.R.E.W.S. initiative.

Tallahassee Rodeo at the Fairgrounds begins at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $25

Zach Bartholomew and the Michael Baken Trio will perform at Vino Beano at 8:00 PM.

The Coolbreaze Art and Smooth Jazz Festival will be held at Cascades Park, with performances at the Adderley Amphitheater. Tickets are free up to $40. There will be food trucks as well.


Sunday, April 14:

Tallahassee Blues and Jazz Fest is from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, tickets are needed.

Melissa Etheridge performs at the Adderley Amphitheater in Cascades Park at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $35-$55

Tallahassee Film Society presents ‘Young Frankenstein’ as part of their Gene Wilder appreciation event. It begins at 7:00 PM and tickets are $7.

Crossfit Tallahassee is hosting the Festivus Games from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $80 to $240

The Tallahassee Chain of Arts Park Festival begins at 10:00 AM at the Chain of Parks (on Park Ave). This is a free event.

Pride in the Plaza begins at 12:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM at Kleman Plaza.

The Tallahassee Earth Day Festival at the Hole (3030 South Adams Street) begins at 11:30 AM. This is a free event.

Pineapple Boats at Browns Kitchens beginning at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $65

Full Moon Lighthouse Event at the Crooked River Lighthouse at Carabelle at 7:00 PM. Evening climbs are $10.

Wednesday, April 24:

TCC’s Jazz Band has its Spring 2024 concert at the Turner Auditorium beginning at 7:30 PM. Admission is free.

FSU’s Wind Orchestra will have a performance at Ruby Diamond. This concert begins at 7:30 PM and tickets are $7-$10.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be at the Civic Center at 7:00 PM. Tickets begin at $25.

American Vintage Markets at the North Florida Fairgrounds from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pensacola Crawfish Festival begins at 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and tickets are $2-5 per day

Pig and Pearl at Goodwood Museum, a celebration of Southern food and music, begins at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $125.

Honky Tonk’n Havanna, a tribute to Johnny Cash, will begin at 7:00 PM at the Havana Main Street/Havanna Museum. Tickets are $30-40.

Dine in the Dark at Eve on Adams begins at 7:00 PM. Dinner costs $125

The 3rd Annual Cardboard Boat Race for Sauls-Bridges Post 13 American Legion's efforts to help veterans starts at 9:00 AM. To enter the race begins at $60.
