Friday, November 29:

Black Friday shopping begins today if that’s of interest. The Tallahassee Democrat has an article about local shops participating as well as deals by category while The Governor’s Square Mall has posted their hours and coupons/deals.

The lights have been turned on in Dorothy B. Oven Park. Elf Night is not until December 19.


Boo Radley is performing at the Junction at Monroe at 8:00 PM.

Tobacco Road is performing at Fifth and Thomas starting at 9:30 PM. There is no cover, ages 21+.



Cap City Video is hosting the Black Friday Chop Till You Drop Horror Marathon beginning at 3:00 PM.

Saturday, November 30: LeMoyne Arts is having it’s 56th Annual Holiday Show. The Theme is “An International Holiday.” The show features unique handmade gifts and works of art from an array of local and regional artists.


Sunday, December 01:

”North By Northwest” is showing at All Saints Cinema beginning at 5:00 PM.


The Nutcracker, performed by Pas de Vie Ballet, is at Lee Auditorium beginning at 2:30 PM.

Tuesday, December 03: The Choral Union is performing at Opperham Music Hall. This is a free concert that begins at 7:30 PM.


Wednesday, December 04: Appalachee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association is doing their 4th annual Holiday Lights Winter Night Hike. This is a 3.5-4 mile walk in downtown Tallahassee meant to see the seasonal lights. This begins at 5:30 PM, attendees must sign up online.
